Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture with Chihuly Glass: A Sight to Behold

Such a fantastic spot for any fan of architecture! Admittedly, when people recommended to go see the "Frank Lloyd Wright house" I didn't understand what would be so captivating about it. I was wrong! Now is a great time to visit as Chihuly is on exhibit until end of May 2022. They also have Chihuly at night tours which we may go back for. Our guide, was absolutely fantastic and really painted the picture of Frank Lloyd Wright and the life he lived. She was absolutely knowledgeable of all of the questions that were asked as well. I wish Rebekah taught me history, in school, haha! She was so easy to listen to with her storytelling nature, I LOVED it!
They also have self-guided tours which are cheaper. We brought my almost 80 year old dad and he did well with the 90-minute tour, he did take advantage of the seating that was provided. There are seats in the indoor areas but by the front of the house, there is an extended period of time with no place to sit, but as you get closer to the living room there is seating outdoors there.

TOURS
Cost is $49 per adult, $37 per student (13-25yo with student ID) and $25 per youth (6-12yo). The Self-Guided Night tour is cheaper.

ACTIVITY LEVEL
The tour takes 75-90 minutes of walking outdoors and in some of the buildings on mostly level ground. There may be a negotiation of threshold or curb here and there, but mostly level. There are seats throughout the tour, but definitely concentrated towards Frank's living room which is halfway through the tour. My almost 80yo father was able to navigate well, but definitely took advantage of the seats throughout.
GIFT SHOP
Lastly, don't skip the gift shop. They have some pretty unique pieces there!
WOULD I DO IT AGAIN
We are already planning to go back and hopefully catch Chihuly at night! I struggle to find activities to do with certain family members that want something different, but not too much activity level. So, I will for sure be back in the future!
